Biography

Treena Page has worked for Foys Solicitors since November 1991 after finishing 6th Form Education. She has worked her way up within the department. She commenced employment for Foys as a Junior, moving up to a Typist, then to a Secretary and since 2001/2002 being employed as a Family Clerk.

Prior to commencing work at Foys, Treena was a pupil at Mexborough Comprehensive School and 6th Form College. During her time there she was a member of the Netball and Hockey Teams. She also participated in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, completing all three levels of Bronze, Silver and Gold. Attending at St James Palace in London to receive her Gold Award from the Duke of Edinburgh.

Treena has through her career within Foys built up a substantial experience of Family Law. This has included dealing with Legal Aid Application and changes in respect of the Legal Aid Scheme.

Approach

Treena’s role within the department is to advise and assist new clients. Initially speaking to them for their first free consultation. Providing clients with general advice regarding their case and also advise with regards to the costs of proceedings on either a private basis or whether they would be entitled to Legal Aid. Also taking instructions from clients and then transferring them to the relevant Solicitor to deal with their case within the Department.

Treena also deals with Legal Aid Applications and the rules regarding this in Family Law. She also deals with the billing of Legal Aid Cases.

Treena is a valued member of the Family.
