Biography

Emily Hume is a family clerk based at Foys Solicitors’ Doncaster office. She joined Foys Solicitors working in the family department in 2018.

Emily assists with all issues relating to the arrangements for children, both between their parents and other family members and also involving child protection and the removal of children from the care of their family. Emily also attends public law outline (PLO) meetings and assists the clients throughout the process, attending meetings and advising them throughout. Emily also assists in divorce and financial proceedings.


Emily legal career started at 18 immediately after leaving school, Emily has gained experience throughout her time at Foys, learning, and commitment to clients

Approach

She places great emphasis on her empathy and understanding the clients’ position from the outset, keeping the explanation of information simple and clear throughout.
