Biography

Carla joined Foys in April 2025 as a Trainee CILEX Lawyer after completing her LLB (Hons) Law with Criminology. She is based at the firm’s Doncaster office. Carla works within the Dispute Resolution Department assisting on a wide range of civil and commercial disputes.

Carla began her legal career at the age of 17, entering the profession immediately after finishing school. She completed a Level 2 CILEX Apprenticeship in Legal Administration before progressing to university, where she achieved an Upper Second-Class Honours degree.

Her early start in practice, combined with continued academic development, has given her a strong and practical foundation in litigation. Carla is known for her proactive work ethic, organisation and commitment to delivering a high standard of client care.

She is currently undertaking her CILEX training and working towards qualification as a Chartered Legal Executive and CILEX Lawyer.

Approach

Carla takes a people-centred approach to her work, recognising that understanding each client’s circumstances is essential to providing effective legal support. She prioritises clear communication and careful listening, ensuring clients feel informed and supported throughout their matter.

As a trainee, she is focused on developing a practical and solution-driven understanding of dispute resolution. Her work is defined by professionalism, attention to detail and an organised, methodical approach.
